Late Dr. Raja Ramanna, the renowned Nuclear Scientist laid the Foundation-stone for the Buildings in the Campus and Dr. S. Ramegowda, Former Chairman, AICTE was the Guest of Honour on the Occasion. Dr. U. R. Rao, Ex-Chairman, ISRO laid the Foundation-stone for the New Laboratory Block in the campus, Dr. D.M. Nanjundappa, Former Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore and Karnataka University was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. Dr. S.S. Mantha, Former Chairman, AICTE, Newdelhi, inaugurated Silver Jubilee function on 26th October 2013.

The Institute now offers Diploma Courses in Five Disciplines of study in the 3-year Diploma Engineering, as per the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka, approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.
